I began Rubberhose because I wanted to get better at character rigging and animation. I began Timelord because I wanted to get better at cel animation. By the end of a 2 year dev cycle while working fulltime at Google, I lost the thread of actually doing drawn animation.

I was a huge fan of Reece’s work but had never talked with him. I sent him a cold email asking for help beta testing Timelord. He was gracious and shared more than anyone. A couple emails later he asked if I wanted to help with promo materials.

I had been collecting his work as inspiration in the hope that I would be able to create some shots that were 1/16th as good as one of his gifs, and here he was offering to work on it. And more than that, he understood my cryptic ramblings and pulled off something unbelievably powerful.

Reece gets me more than any other artist. We really like working on stuff together.
